Kitchen

The Kitchen is located in perhaps the most historic part of the house, with wood beamed ceilings and tiled murals of much-loved past house staff on the walls. Here you will find all the mod cons of a very large, fully equipped kitchen – alongside a backdrop of an ancient oversized hearth and a traditional coal burning brick oven.

Passareiro is offered on a self-catering basis and all the equipment you need will be in the kitchen, including plenty of crockery, cutlery and serving dishes. Simple home-cooked meals can be made available on arrival.

Chef

For those who prefer not to cook, a chef can be arranged in advance. If you would like to know more about the local cuisine, our chef can give informal cookery tutorials before your evening meal. Please see our services page for more information.
