Bedrooms

There are six bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 comfortably, with additional cots for children. However it should be said that because of the layout of the house, smaller groups will find themselves equally at home. All rooms are provided with fine quality cotton bed linen, towels and bathrobes for adults.

Master bedroom

Furnished with a king sized bed, hand painted dressers and Turkish kilim carpets, the master bedroom is the largest in the house and has the benefit of its own working fireplace and French windows leading directly onto the back garden. There is an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, vanity units and toilet. This room can be linked to the Pink Room if need be and is ideal for parents travelling with children.

Pink Room

Ideal for a child or single adult, the Pink Room has a charming antique cast iron bed and a cot for a baby. There is also a dresser and a large hand painted wardrobe providing ample space for unpacking. An internal door provides direct access to the master bedroom and this can be left open or closed, according to your needs.

Blue Room

This room can be set up as a large double or as a twin, depending on your group. Furnished with antique cast iron beds and Indian bedspreads, it also has a characterful antique washstand, dresser and wardrobe. The integrated en-suite facilities feature traditional hand painted tiles and includes a shower, toilet and vanity unit.

Red Room

The Red Room is a very large room, this can be set up as a large double or as a twin, depending on your needs. Decorated with 1930’s furniture and traditional hand-painted pieces, this room has plenty of space to spread out in. The en-suite bathroom features traditional blue painted tiles and has a bath/shower and vanity units. A second door leads from the bathroom back onto the main corridor to allow for access, but this can be locked for more privacy if you wish.

Green Room

The Green Room is can be made up as a twin or double and is decorated with antique cast iron beds, Turkish kilim carpets and a traditional hand painted dresser. It does not have its own bathroom but the shared facilities are just down the corridor and include a bath/shower, vanity units and toilet.

Yellow Room

The Yellow Room has a small double bed which is great for a single adult or for a couple who don’t mind a squeeze. It is decorated with a hand painted dresser and a large antique cupboard which provides ample space for unpacking. The yellow room does not have its own bathroom, but the shared facilities are just down the corridor and include a bath/shower, vanity units and toilet.
